We offer an on-site service to carefully repair your leaded lights or stained glass at home, office or church.
We would always try reuse your glass wherever possible as this is the original glass and part of the history of the windows.
We have professional glaziers with many years of experience in the careful removal, temporary glazing, and refitting of your leaded light or stained glass window.
We hold huge quantities of historic glass it is one of the largest stocks of historic glass in England. We also have a large archive of antique glass in out of production patterns. We are also recognised by the Pilkington Glass advisory service as suppliers of rare and out of production glass.
Since 1972 we have been manufacturing Traditional Leaded Lights here in Horsham, West Sussex for historic houses, listed houses, builders, glass merchants and glaziers throughout the South East of England. We do not subcontract, every leaded light is made here in Horsham.
We price every repair individually based on the size of the pane, type of glass and damage to the lead All prices include VAT we are able to repair any flat glass, a straightforward clear glass repair
We can usually price work from a good emailed picture, you may email a picture of your broken, deteriorated or damaged leaded light or stained glass to sussexleadedlights@gmail.com
We are able to restore or repair your old metal frames, many of which are not closing correctly or are rusty and the leaded lights within bowed and letting draughts and water ingress, we have restored many metal frames and injected a substantial life back into them, all subject to a site visit.
We have large stocks of English coloured antique glass, rolled patterned glass and glass from around the World.
Our work is solely in traditional Glass for aged buildings, unlike most other companies we do not confuse this fine old trade with modern derivatives like double glazing or modern plastic windows, we work solely in traditional glass for traditional properties. We work with English hand drawn lead, traditional glass clear and colored, panels are built using fine materials that we are proud to put our name to. We have never used cheap, foreign lead or modern glass, everything we do is traditional. We are different and offer a first class service.
